What is the cost associated with a Read Between the Vines subscription?
It is $72 CAD plus tax for one month (NOT auto-renewed), save 5% if you sign up for 6-months (which is billed monthly, automatically), get one box FREE if you sign up for 12-months (which is billed monthly, automatically). You may pay with credit card or PayPal
What type of books are chosen for the Book Club Boxes?
Every novel is chosen through extensive research of a variety of book blogs and book reviews. I also have a trusted Canadian book distributor that I work with closely, who constantly has her finger on the pulse for what is up-and-coming in the literary world.
I strive to include stories from authors who come from a wide range of backgrounds including: authors of colour, Indigenous authors, authors from the LGBTQIA2S+ community, non-English-speaking authors, neurodiverse authors, etc.

When will my Book Box be shipped/delivered?
Your Book Club Box will arrive between the last week of the previous month and the first week of the month of the box that you ordered. I will send or deliver your box with plenty of time to arrive for the first Book Club of the month.
For instance: If you ordered a "July" Book Box; it will arrive between June 23rd and July 7th.
What happens at Book Club?
We meet weekly on Sundays via Zoom (a link will be sent via email). We meet at both 12:30pm AST and 5:30pm AST for between 30 minutes and 1 hour depending on the amount of people in book club, and where the discussion ends up.
Oftentimes, we are lucky enough to be joined by the author of the book. In the past, we have been graced by: Cheluchi Onyemelukwe-Onuobia, Catherine Bush, Melissa Rivero, Drew Hayden Taylor, Bianca Marais, Nina LaCour, Gina Brown, Abbi Waxman, Kelly Mustian, Rishi Reddi, Sheila Williams among others.
If you prefer a quiet crowd, I would recommend afternoon book club, if you prefer a rowdier conversation, the evening club is definitely for you.
Why is there a "ding" on my book?
Read Between the Vines proudly includes "overstock" books. This allows me to provide Book Club Boxes at competitive rates, and give books that may otherwise end up in a landfill another chance to be loved. I assure you, this will not impede your ability to read, love, and cherish your book.
